I’m so happy with how I’ve done with the reading challenge! For the remainder of the year, I intend to slow down a bit with reading.

What I find most fascinating about this book is how accurate it portrays the online book world. It’s obvious that Kuang did extensive research on recent author scandals. To me, satire is one of the most difficult genres to write; Kuang expertly pulls the curtain in this book.

My hot take is that maybe they shouldn’t be together now that we know why they broke up.

Thoughts so far:
I don’t like Sabrina; Cleo’s cool; Parth is funny; Kimmy’s wild side is hilarious.

I am trying to figure out why Harriet and Wyn broke up but they’re both unreliable.

These characters are so concerned about that it’s the last week at the summer house, they forget to enjoy the magic of summer.
