This is legit bad. Like, she used AI to write it, & decided that she was not going to fix any of the awkwardness. The scene transitions are clunky, the dialog is stilted & boring (but dont worry, the translator just didnt translate properly), & their relationship progression makes almost no sense. She comes off as some crazy chick seducing her boss & then pressuring him to marry her. I'm at a loss w/ this train wreck

I have to say, some of these examples do not make any sense. Why would someone run to spend time with another stop if that is how they met? Maybe the real reason was to stay in shape to get a man and then stopped once the goal was achieved. Also, this gender separation is lame. Shared interests are equally important on both sides. I swear, this did not age well.

I feel like mary firth is the first real eccentric in this book. A close second was the crown thief, but he struck me as more of a trickster/art thief out to get back at the king.

I know i am not done with the second book, but boy does this feel repetitive. it feels repetitive because of the similarities to the first book and to itself. How many times am i to read about how perfect grace is, how lucky aiden is, how hot aiden is and blah blah blah? All the kissing and can't keep their hands off each other, pass. Clearly, i am not aiden or grace's perfect match.

I legitimately do not understand these women who agree to listen to commands unconditionally to go into a dangerous situation, and then do back on their word. Then get into a huff when the man doesn't disclose information to their satisfaction. Uh, did you or did you not manipulate your way into the crazy situation in the first place? Let's deal with our own honesty levels before commenting on others.

This guy blows at disclosing important (albeit bad) information.
