Spoke too soon

So apparently old books don’t need to be chock full of out dated sentiments. So far the narrative has defended a woman who, rather than marry, wished to live a simple life alone as a shepardess, and just now the venerable Don Quixote de la Mancha argued for the legalization and regulation of sex work so that the principal abuses could be prevented… go figure.

I am abandoning the strictures of reading only one book at a time . . . just don’t check to see if I ever finish all of them

Unfortunately my new job is exhausting so I do not foresee myself reading much this next year :(
