ok love this is giving knives out #1 so far

had dnfed a while ago, giving it another chance with the audiobook

ok wow im really getting into this book now.

my god does it make me uncomfortable, but that’s the point.

getting interesting though a bit slower in pace

starting to see the love island meets lord of the flies everyone is talking about

heard so much about it but the ratings kinda low so i’m gonna do a bunch of progress ratings (no spoilers).

i kinda hate when books start off with extreme description of the setting rather than the plot so not a fan of that rn lol. love that it started with an animal farm quote though.

can’t remember the last time a book has HOOKED me like this

This is so incredibly written. If it continues on this track I think this book may end up being my second 5-star of the year after Sunrise on the Reaping.
