This is a difficult one to rate. Innovative for sure, but I never really warmed up to the characters, and the writing style didn't really click with me. I'd say 2.5 stars, but I'll round up to 3.

I didn't expect this to include a longer version of my favourite Capercaillie song (Fear a' Bhàta). How marvellous to have an official translation, knowing mine was fairly accurate, but then to know more verses and learn the history! I am greatly enjoying the book & audio so far, but this was an especially happy surprise.

Not quite sure what to make of this..

Unfortunately, I did kinda fall out of love with Good Omens since backing this project. However, this graphic novel is still a momentous achievement. I don't care for all design choices of the characters, but Colleen is a master of her craft, and you can only respect her work

This is gonna be a bit of a hard read because it has so much disappointment tied up into the book. In the end, I didn't cancel my pledge as they froze NG out, and I do think Colleen's art is lovely. But sadly, reading this now will come with mixed feelings.

More than being inspired by Final Fantasy, this reads more like FF7 fanfic. Overall there was too little development of both characters and plots, contradicting statements that should've been caught in the editing phase.. I'm just disappointed. I can see how this idea would work as a game, but then FF7 had this premise and did it better. I would skip if you know FF7.
