This is slow to start.. I probably should have reread The Secret Commonwealth but there's just so much to read I couldn't slot it in. Hopefully events will start falling into place and the action will pick up, because it still feels like mostly exposition so far

I forgot a lot, so today time was spent on getting familiar with all the details again 😂 but I'm excited to continue

I greatly enjoyed this exhibition, and appreciate having this good summary to be able to revisit some of the information. Very dense but very good information

The setting the book opened with is one I tend to avoid in my fiction, so I almost dropped the series there. A bit of a negative surprise in the last book in the series. While I still don't enjoy that POV I am curious how this ends, so we shall soldier on.

Wasn't expecting to cry, but some of those last poems hit me hard. I think Aois, Cèilidh, and Chì Mi Thu were my favourites.

(Made me laugh though I'm 90% certain it's not a Wicked reference. But in my heart it is)
