This is gonna be a bit of a hard read because it has so much disappointment tied up into the book. In the end, I didn't cancel my pledge as they froze NG out, and I do think Colleen's art is lovely. But sadly, reading this now will come with mixed feelings.

Sandra is finished with The Demon and the Light (The Floating World, #2)

More than being inspired by Final Fantasy, this reads more like FF7 fanfic. Overall there was too little development of both characters and plots, contradicting statements that should've been caught in the editing phase.. I'm just disappointed. I can see how this idea would work as a game, but then FF7 had this premise and did it better. I would skip if you know FF7.
