I'm finding that the bitterness I worried would permeate this book is absent the farther in you get. I am determined to finish this and my cursed shelf will not deter me.

Wow, talk about a difference of opinion and reading a book at the right time and wrong time. I read this book back in early 2019 and loved it, now I'm having a real problem with Benedict and his refusal to take no for an answer. How he's pushing Sophie to do things his way and not respecting her choices.

Tora is insufferable and sympathetic at the same time.
Also i know my currently reading shelf is Cursed so gonna try and finish this today

Still very good, even being a 20 year old book that I first read 13 years ago.
Also Christian fiction writers always write the best romantic tension.

Gonna start a review, it's interesting having read this series at 18 and being a high schooler vs reading this book at 32 while being a mom and wife. Somethings just hit differently now. Tho the Tom and Callie relationship still intriguing and even tho I already know where it goes, I loved reading about it last time and it's still a highlight in this reading.

Credit, it took me this long to puzzle out the mystery but I think I can point a finger. ( wonderful book as usual Julie)

Haven't read this book in a while. Cursing not as bad as I remember but the writing is still wonderful. Emma mills is still a fav of mine.

Sooooo, this kid is messed up. But not a bad story so far

Don't normally update these but I want this thought saved: I like how the king is falling for ginger because he can read her thoughts in contrast to the novel where he falls for leyjay because he can't then when he can, he doesn't like who she is.

So I really like this author. She got me with the side story. I legit dropped my book I was so surprised

Ehem... the culprit auditioned for the same part as Lacey but didn't get it. When Lacey and Grant were having chemistry problems, the culprit saw an opportunity to mess with Lacey and get her kicked out. However Lacey is very resourceful and has been doing her best to wade through her problems and now this person is going to ramp up the problems.
So yeah I figured it out.

Making a note now that I think I called the "villain " the second she showed up. Goes to show how reading a lot can help with guessing bad guys since I don't consider myself perceptive

I really like the relationship Abby has with her Dad. I'm always a sucker for those since I have a wonderful relationship with my Dad.

As an aside people usually are not that rude. Usually it's just where are u from and grew up. That's it

I like the relationship between the characters. Lots of sex but tempered with talking So not Ethan and lilah levels ( good luck charm- Helen hunting ) but not khai and esme levels either

I realize now why I wasn't enjoying 99 percent mine. That book wasn't fun because of all the bitterness. While this book is pure fun
