Its taken a while for me to be intrigued honestly. At first, I felt Rowans story was filler to understand Williams story. Now reading through a bit further, I am starting to wonder how Rowan and Williams story connect. Its a slow burn here forsure.

So far, the pacing of the story is nice. I like how casual the main character Theo talks to the reader and how we got to know a lot about him before we get deeper into Alicia's story!

The closer I get towards the ending it has this mystical aspect in the book which I am liking. The build up to the parade as well is very intense.

I find the story interesting because its a true story, but the writing doesnt have me hooked so far.

I really like the story. I do feel that chapter 17-19 couldve been a bit shorter, but at the same time it did give a good amount of knowledge as well

Its interesting, but a bit slow. I feel like itll grab my attention most on the next one.

Gonna try to read atleast 10 books this year wish me luck!
