Page 10- (Vic) “Still, Ross was his partner, his best friend...”
Page 145- (Vic) “Ross was a good partner, and while they weren’t best friends...”

WTH?!? Continuity people. Shouldn’t this have been established by the author from the beginning? Or at least caught by an editor or beta reader? Ross doesn’t seem like Vic’s best friend so far in the book.

I'm reading this one again because I got the next two books in the series and I can't for the life of me remember what happened in this book.

I'm giving this book twenty more pages to catch my interest and if not I'm giving up on it

So far it is incredibly interesting.
