Too scared to finish bc I feel intense grief

Listening to this on audible. Kinda hard to get through but still enjoyable

The ending is honestly really hard to get through.

Page 57 update: Valarie Kaur describes grief in such a way that “transcends language”. Her ability to describe grieving with community is something I’ve never read before. It’s like she’s describing a concept that I’ve been looking for my whole life. It breaks my heart that it took decades, if not centuries, to be able to describe the pain Sikh people have endured.

Reading it for my environmental justice class and absolutely love it so far

Why am I low key not into it
