Very meh thus far. Someone is waiting for it at the library so I'll let it go for now and see when I pick it back up...it's so short I should have breezed through this easy but I just can't get into it. Not sure if it's the extraneous detail of physical appearances or what.

I hope I have enough willpower to finish this. Hannah is not a very compelling character and her choices are beyond frustrating.

Wah. Not very far in and it's so depressing!! I know it'll all be worth it when they finally talk to each other and get on the same page but getting to that point is going to be agonizing!!

Halfway through this book and I'm also annoyed at the main character; I can't catch a break! Another novel where if the characters JUST TALKED WITH EACH OTHER HONESTLY things would get resolved...but no. I get that it adds drama and all but it's so grating! Probably will read something else as a palate cleanser and then come back to this one.

Well, I'm about halfway through but it needs to go back to the library for a hold. I'm not altogether sad about giving this one up. The main character is very annoying and IMHO just not trying hard enough to solve the mystery so therefore I'm very confused and annoyed because we only have their perspective. I may put myself back on the list but probably not until the newness dies down.

Not loving it so far. Has to go back to the library so not sure when (or if) I'll pick it back up.

So...as long as nothing horrible happens, this is exactly what I have been hoping for with Bruiser. And should not have taken 8 books...stupid Jane.

Well... now I have gone down the novella rabbit hole and found an anthology that contains goodies from many of the series I'm reading...

Realized yet again I started with a spin-off of another series...So many characters I should know but don't. Even though I'm only a quarter of the way through I'm surprisingly invested. Unless it takes a turn for the worst, I'll finish this book and then back track to the "original" series.
