Watched the show and enjoyed it. Really interesting. Not read a lot of Sci-Fi and I may be doing myself a disservice by jumping in the deep end here. Probably not the best beginners book, a lot of it is going over my head so far. We'll see if I can keep up.

She's a robot and he has far too much ego.

This is definitely reading like fanfic. It's so over the top. And too many new names for things that are barely explained. Needs to pick up soon. My Illumicrate Edition is utterly gorgeous but the writing isn't gripping me yet.

It's silly but quick.

I like their chemistry but the way their intimate scenes are written are just so cringe. And the fact he calls his penis Charlie is absolutely diabolical. 🤮 Comes completely out of nowhere and just horrendous. 🤮 Don't think this author knows how to write intimacy well.

I'm not quite getting the point of this story. He's trying to prove to her that they can have a good relationship not based on lust and love, by trying to seduce her? Her family are still awful too. I like the Aunts but the rest of them are just so selfish.

His idea makes sense but hardly fair flirting with her making her fall in love when you don't even believe in it.

Well I love Rocky in any form; film or print.

Watched the film and loved it. Onto to see how the book differs. Good so far but definitely feel like it's more YA than an adult book; bar all the science talk. Seems sort of juvenile language in places.
