A Hunger Artist 😞😞 way to start the day

the hunter gracchus!! amazing in just 3 pages

“He is not prepared for what he sees. For this is magic- two small white celluloid balls with blue stripes jumping up and down side by side on the parquet; when one of them touches the floor the other is in the air, a game where they continue ceaselessly to play”

had to do a double take 😭 what is goin on

in the penal colony!! 5 stars, was completely immersed in its prose. an important read

more tarot studies 😌

metamorphosis reread 😌 so peak

interesting reading a story that’s incomplete and coming across “two manuscripts later” or “2 pages missing” and piecing the story together :,)

“As I lie in bed I assume the shape of a big beetle, a stag beetle or a cockchafer, I think”

metamorphosis mentioned in another story?! 🙀

strange start, i’m into it
