I've read David Copperfield couple of times earlier... Both abridged version and I felt it was great... Reading unabridged for the first time and this is just amazing... Some exquisite writing here by Dickens... What amazed me was that the way David narrates the story without losing on the vocabulary used by different sections of the society at that period of time...

I wanted to read this book after watching a video of this young girl pleading to the World Nations to come together to create awareness on the situation in North Korea or as the world calls it, The Hermit's Kingdom. The story of Yeonmi Park is so grueling that I feel blessed with what I/we have while compared to the people there who are denied even the smallest pleasures in life. I would recommend it to everyone.

There are few books which you just want to keep reading on and on and never want to finish... after reading just 2 pages I can feel this book is one among them...
