Never thought that sentence could send a chill down my spine

Octopus revolution!

I didn't expect this one to be as much of a page-turner as it is. Certainly feels like I'm flying through it compared to the "Poppy War" trilogy

I tried to finish this one in 2025, but unfortunately I didn't make it.

I absolutely adore this book, and it yet again cements Hobb as one of my absolute favorite authors.

As with the previous books, I had this odd moment again at the start where the book seemed incredibly long. And yet again, after just a few pages, I've been hooked again by Fitz's story.

I picked this one spontaneously from one of my dad's shelves and I'm enjoying it a lot.

I haven't been this addicted to a book in a while; maybe it's too early to tell, but this could be a new favorite of mine!

Wow, consider me hooked! The premise alone of a virus intended to create better humans on a new planet that instead causes spiders to evolve and become a dominant and intelligent species is fascinating.

I'm really into the back-and-forth between human and spider PoVs. Can't wait to see them come into contact...

So far, I feel very similarly about the book as I did with the movie: it's good, but not as great as its reputation.

Struggling a bit with the science, but this is a fun read so far!
