I'm feeling slightly less antagonistic towards Hayden now that he's in danger and there's a more exasperating captain bent on dangerous folly to rally against.

This is not going to be my favourite book in the series. I'm actually hoping Hayden comes to 'repent at leisure' his haste and duplicity in this matter. As reader I wish to be afforded the opportunity to revel in a little schadenfreude.

Finally getting around to reading Rita Haworth and the Shawshank Redemption ...

I am halfway through--so far I feel this book deserves its plaudits.

One of these years I'm going to have to get around to reading Lolita.

I've begun seeing rabbits (real and depicted) everywhere since starting this book.
