I'm feeling slightly less antagonistic towards Hayden now that he's in danger and there's a more exasperating captain bent on dangerous folly to rally against.

This is not going to be my favourite book in the series. I'm actually hoping Hayden comes to 'repent at leisure' his haste and duplicity in this matter. As reader I wish to be afforded the opportunity to revel in a little schadenfreude.
