the third part of this book could have been the whole book, not much of note happened during the other 2 thirds

Almost half way through the book and only now have the characters started exploring the castle....
This book is painfully slow

Tower of Babylon - was okay, a little underwhelming to me
Understand - AMAZING. I couldn't put down the book when I was reading this one! It made me think in a whole new way. I kept re-reading parts and really taking in the expressions that Ted Chiang uses. I feel like I learned so much vocabulary as well! I really appreciate what the author did with this one, and the work it must have taken to prepare such a story.

Adorable
