So far good and also so upsetting. I’m on the section of Jeffrey Epstein and trumps deep, long standing connection, trumps multiple child rapes, and his direct ties to Russia. The hypocrisy is just astounding.

The narrative just flipped from first to second person and I don’t love it. Whyyyy

I hate this book but I hate to quit more. This book is not for me. Do I finish??

Nothing against Patrick Stewart but I think this book is too long for me. Due hard fans probably like it way better. Not sure if I’ll finish it.

So far really great. Just listening slowly and taking my time to do the practice exercises.

Meh. Not impressed so far. Sped up the audiobook speed so I can try and finish it. Could be an amazing story but the writing lacks everything. Details, character development, and emotional depth. It reads like a screenplay: he said, she said, he “kissed her” um, describe it please.

I don’t know how this book ended up in my audible library, but I’m half way through and it is not great. Trying to decide whether to push through or pull the plug.

Not enjoying this at all. It’s quite boring and hard to follow. I may glassy give up and return it.

I’m only half way through but there are a lot of really important concepts that abound in this concise text. A few thoughts for now until I can resume after the semester ends.
1. Many parents never fully emotionally matured. 2. Emotional intelligence isn’t the same as emotional maturity. 3. Monetary/physical support is not the same as emotional support.
