Why couldn’t it have been this good earlier on? I was going to give it maybe two stars but now I’m addicted. It took over half the book to get good. That’s diabolical

I waited until I read more to put this on my Goodreads because lately I’ve been starting lots of books but not finishing them. I know I will finish this today so I’m finally putting it on here

She is FAR too relatable.

i love this author too much to trash this book so just know i do not like it and im hoping it’ll get better. i’ll only be updating page numbers because i have trust that the writing will get better. she has an amazing writing style but this book really just feels like a money grab

damn. i just reviewed the last book and praised how it didn’t feel forced. this is the legit opposite. you’re telling me haymitch was friends with BOTH of katniss’ parents AND peeta’s. at this point, names are being thrown in to satisfy readers

the best character in this WHOLE book by FAR is sejanus and the absolutely worst part is that we can see how snow doesn’t actually like him but if we didn’t get his pov they’d seem like such great friends which is what sejanus also thanks
