"No," I replied, thinking uncomfortably of his power to reshape time, limited as it is. "I'm rather fond of my sanity, thank you."
He brushed a loose strand of hair from my forehead, tucking it behind my ear with one long finger.
"That would be mine," he said. "Your hair is always in your eyes."
