I have never read this many ways to call a woman old and ugly. Didn't know this many ways existed without curse words.

The juxtaposition of the narrator talking about the young woman verses the old woman is freaking crazy - I know ageism has always been bad but it is strange to see it in action. The narrator talks like a young woman's breath can baptize a space after three chapters of calling the old woman miserable.

Girl, friend break up with Isabella she is the worst and her family is the worst, I never would have thought to meet such scummy people in a Jane Austen book.

This only barely makes sense but this whole book is reading like one of the Vacation movies took place in the Regency era.

Gonna go out on a limb and say MC is the demon.

I've already forgotten everyone's ages but I feel like I'm reading middle grade drama.

This Thrope guy would be a podcaster if this were modern I guarantee it.

While Catherine isn't supposed to be all that smart or pretty or interesting, she is surrounded by idiots who make her look great by comparison.

Okay so everything else in this book aside like relying on technology and the dangers of AI blah blah blah what kind of flex is this that Lily is still with Henry? Like she's the CEO she's the one with the money it is OBVIOUS she hates him so why is she still with him? Is this a flex? A power trip? Did they not sign prenups and so she's worried about divorce? Is she a robot? There is no reason they should be together

I so badly want the monster to be good I'm finding it kind of adorable.

I am halfway through this book I need some character development and I need it now.

I didn't read a word of this for like two weeks from second hand embarrassment but we are back.
