Loved it! I'm glad Audre got a better understanding of her mother and her mother was able to finally hear her out to better understand her. I love that Bash finally opened up to her about everything. I wondered why he was so reserved/mysterious.
I wonder if Rishma and Kleo will get their own spin off book. I'd love to explore their stories next .

Audre is the typical teen girl! I love her character and her friends. Rishma is hilarious,Bash is chill, I can see why he and Kleo are friends. I love that Audre calls her baby sister a goblin, it reminds me of when I got a baby sister, I felt similar. I wonder if she will get to the bottom of her mom grandma's disconnection

I love how in the end she found that she and Naomi have more in common than she once believed. Her experiment concluded that it's okay that she is a crier and that her friends can differ from her and still remain BFFs, and that Mermaids are awesome (I agree).

I love how Kylie is starting to see her friends in a different way. I like how close her and her little sister Brianna are. The embraces her pretend play and imagination even though her friends are doing the opposite

Loving so far. Kylie reminds me so much of me at that age. So sweet, trying to find her way. Wanting to blend in with her peers. She has "big feelings". She knows the values her parents have instilled in her but watching her friend group do the opposite makes her question it.
