This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever read and I read ACOTAR

Honestly this is going to be two stars because I found out the third book isn’t pull yet and this book did nothing to progress the plot. This was just mindless filler and significantly less enjoyable than the first one.

Actually so good! I need to read the other series so this one makes just slightly more sense, but this stands on its own well enough 4.5/5

I am reading this as part of the Abraham Lincoln reading list and I am like 95% sure this is a part of a larger universe. I think it is the sequel series to the Raybearer series, so my understanding of the world is minimal. This feels like when I read Six of Crows before Shadow and Bone. Having said all this, I am enjoying this novel a lot! So far my favorite of my assigned titles!
