Cute! The message is portrayed good for the intended age group but not subtle in the slightest if not. The switch from third person focused on nico to hazel all the sudden threw me off. Still enjoyed my time with this one! 4/5

Honestly I liked the sun and the star more at this point because Nico and Will’s relationship wasn’t perfect. It’s too perfect in this one still loving it tho

This initially appealed to me, but in the end it was too short to have dragged on so long in the beginning. Also the timeline didn’t make sense at times which I’m sure is supposed to be the point but other books have done it better (and more coherently) I’m not sure on rating but for right now 3/5 (potentially 2.5/5)

Unrelated to the book completely but golf makes me want to crash out 😭😭😭 (book 3/5)

I can see how a book like this would be appealing to many different people but to me I felt like I couldn’t connect to the main character. This may be due to the audiobook narrator but idk. I all don’t relate to the subject matter (I don’t like alcohol and I don’t drink heavy)

Not for me at all

I don’t like stories like this. The one thing I’m super excited for is to no longer be required to read these books after I graduate 😭.

Has some banger lines but overall didn’t really wow me like I wanted it to. It wasn’t a believable story 3/5

This book makes me want to vomit

This has the foundation of saying something profound about society but lacks a true message in the execution. When you see the glimpses of the message the book really does it for me, but where it struggles is the writing. This could be due to the translation or this could be a more personal gripe but the writing is just off to me

Art was much better idk what happened to the last one 4/5

The art is different? It feels more unfinished and unrefined I didn’t enjoy it as much as the first volume. The story also wasn’t very strong or compelling in this one 3/5

This series is so fun! The characters are the best part of the series and they really stood out in this one. Victor was a great addition to the cast!! However I will say the mystery was lacking in this one. It didn’t feel as fully developed as the first two books and it seems like that was due to most of the focus going towards the characters. Still going to continue the series! 4/5
