im trying my hardest to like this book, but until i realized that this is the book that made fitzgerald famous i changed opinion a bit. its very gossip girl existential crisis. amory is literally on the brink of psychosis lol same.

magic. such a concept of a word. i think the greatest compliment you can give someone is calling them magic. (from now own, if i call you great or nice just know im lying, but if i call u magic, im telling you the truth.)

i don’t think any of you understand the underlying beauty of this book. unlike all my novels i’ve read, i think this is one of the first “true stories” i’ve read.
