Surprisingly good. Enjoying it immensely. Would be good as audio or physical, but the audio is giving a little more reality to the story that grounds it for me while still maintaining its wit and warmth.

Fascinating but hard to follow his timeline. Not chronological in any sense, even when he seems to be telling things chronologically…

Super fascinating premise that (for me) fell flat with the overuse of the F-word anytime a character swore, and the stilted dialogue of the characters. The prose was good, but the conversations really botched it up. It was almost as if the writer doesn’t know how real people talk to each other… the different narrators to piece together the story was done well, though..

This book is weird. I don’t quite understand the hype. I think because the premise is really cool and creative but I don’t think the author really quite got there…

Talaedius? Yes. Renfis? Yes. Carrion? Surprisingly also yes.

I’m fully invested. Don’t know what’s going to happen with every turn of the page, but I don’t care. The character development and storytelling is exquisite.
