The memory is like the belly of the mind?? Auggie you are on a whole nother plane of existence

Finished like two months ago and still thinking abt it!!

review link!

Have soooo many quotes I want to share but it’s best to just read them in context I think 🥲

Bit of a slog but chugging through a chapter a week

Annotating like I’m Emma M. Lion herself

text

“Such crooked ways! Unhappy the audacious soul which hoped that by abandoning you it would find some better thing! It tossed and turned, upon back and side and belly- but the bed is hard, and you always be are rest” (Book 6)

“My God, let me remember with gratitude and confess to you your mercies toward me. Let my bones be bathed in your love and let them say, ‘Lord, who is like you?” (Book 8)

I don’t want this journey to ever end

When I was in high school, my cross country team used to sneak into a yard near the park and eat apples from their tree. Feeling like I should confess this. Iykyk

Oh my god

Okay I mm enjoying it but every time the narrator pauses you can faintly hear someone else talking in the background and it’s making me feel like I’m going crazy

Heresy!!!

I do not endorse this book but reading for a friend!!

Last one thank goodness

Almost done w this series but it is rapidly deteriorating imo sorry

the irony of not being able to get through this is not lost on me…
