The way this book makes me feel is hard to describe. It needs to be taken in small chunks. Not because there are big overwhelming emotions or over the top drama. No, it's because the emotional depth of this book is quiet but heart achingly exquisite. I've never read writing quite like hers except maybe in Joanne Bischoffs Sons of Blackbird moutain. Matthew reminds me of Thor. I believe I like my quiet heros.
