Honestly, I started reading this as a joke. Julie Hyzy’s writing style is impressively steady, with a consistent cadence and tone that keeps me reading more. My only complaint so far is that the description of the characters are relatively two-dimensional, and lack depth with visual descriptors. Maybe that’s too harsh of a review for a mystery novel with a pun in the title, but that’s where I land! Great read.
