Are there any small town romance books like this where the MC is NOT lumberjack farm aesthetic bc I am not into it loll. I want it to give Jess not Luke (my gg girls know what I mean) i don't even mind the farmer part but I'm just gonna choose to pretend for the rest of the book he doesn't have a beard and doesn't wear only flannels.

okay so I read the prequel to this book which I very much enjoyed bc u know sirens, pirates, enemies to lovers i was reading this in my pool during the summer, immaculate vibes. but! I have gotten literally halfway through this book and its 90% smut / 10% plot. im kinda disappointed:// i hope the 2nd half brings the plot in bc this is not what I signed up for 😭
