I feel like i could skip forward 20 pages and not miss anything important. I really wanna dnf this but I also hate doing that. it seems its going to pick up in the last 100-150 pages but why is it necessary to have to go through 500 pages of extensive descriptions so you get this great imagery for a dialouge that is so mundane before that. LITERALLY NOTHING OF SUBSTANCE IS HAPPENING. someone pls tell me its worth it

1/3 into this book and its still not that interesting:// nothing thats happened so far has gripped me or gave me that feeling that makes me wanna pick it up again after I have to stop reading. the secret history is one of my favorite books so im a little disappointed at how dull the first 200 pages have been.

i feel like the majority of what ive read so far is just them talking about which countries are passing by beneath them and page long descriptions of what the ocean and clouds and light looks like from space. idk i know this just isnt the book for me but it feels way too repetitive unless im missing something. i am not interested in this book at all. :(((

i think i would dnf this if it wasnt for book club

perfect book for summerween :3

u guys idk if i can do this

oh yeah it was time for another enemies to lovers fantasy

shout out Antonia Angress for speaking up about Palestine

now that im caught up on my manga we can get back to this lol

idk if i like this :(

"she grinned, and his innards rearranged themselves" WHAAAAAAAT... INNARDDSSSSSS??? is this how we talk about getting butterflies now?

Are there any small town romance books like this where the MC is NOT lumberjack farm aesthetic bc I am not into it loll. I want it to give Jess not Luke (my gg girls know what I mean) i don't even mind the farmer part but I'm just gonna choose to pretend for the rest of the book he doesn't have a beard and doesn't wear only flannels.

wait nooo can I just finish the book here 😭

okay so I read the prequel to this book which I very much enjoyed bc u know sirens, pirates, enemies to lovers i was reading this in my pool during the summer, immaculate vibes. but! I have gotten literally halfway through this book and its 90% smut / 10% plot. im kinda disappointed:// i hope the 2nd half brings the plot in bc this is not what I signed up for 😭

book club boooook! im liking the audiobook so far i think

audiobooking this months book club read bc its crazy on hold at the library and i have little to no space left at home for new books loll
