I feel like i could skip forward 20 pages and not miss anything important. I really wanna dnf this but I also hate doing that. it seems its going to pick up in the last 100-150 pages but why is it necessary to have to go through 500 pages of extensive descriptions so you get this great imagery for a dialouge that is so mundane before that. LITERALLY NOTHING OF SUBSTANCE IS HAPPENING. someone pls tell me its worth it

1/3 into this book and its still not that interesting:// nothing thats happened so far has gripped me or gave me that feeling that makes me wanna pick it up again after I have to stop reading. the secret history is one of my favorite books so im a little disappointed at how dull the first 200 pages have been.
