Damn this is good.

Super entertaining so far.

I want to like this really unique take on a dinosaur story, but man I'm finding his characters + dialogue gag-worthy. Lots of telling-not-showing of character emotions, and weirdly enough a bunch of the characters are described the same exact way (short, bald, mean-looking)?? Funky...I heard some good things about Bear and I really want to like his novels...

Struggling with this one. Dialogue a bit too vague and etherial, feels condescending.

Audiobook. Read by a guy who sounds somewhat like Bill Nighy.

Truly excellent experience so far. I'm actually listening on audiobook. Neil Gaiman has the best reading voice, I want him to read every book.

Enjoyed this a lot, although it definitely made me uncomfortable in a lot of places. Along with the commentary in the introduction (in the version I have), as well as from other sources (online, other essayists, etc.) this political treatise has been a catalyst for lots of good thinking the past few months.
