Cool concept and a lot of freaky moments but ultimately a lot of nothing for very little payoff

I’m on chapter four and already know this is a 5 star book

15% into this book I knew it was written by a man

This was required reading for a classical mythology class I took to fulfil my humanities requirements circa 2013-2014. Since then, I have considered this to be one of my favourite books. I can’t wait to finally revisit this
