There were too many grammatical errors for me, plus I didn’t see until now that this is a “clean” romance which doesn’t really interest me. Especially since I’m not even drawn into the book yet.

Chapter 4. Quick gripe. So Savannah is 20 years old and in her “3rd year” of “veterinary school”? No. She’s not. In the US, you can’t even apply to vet school until the beginning of your senior year of undergraduate school.

It really annoys me that the author couldn’t take the time to do a quick Google search for this little fact. 🙄

Holy mother of God the female narrator in this is AWFUL. I’m sorry, but she just sounds SO WHINY, and her inflection sounds melodramatic and very forced/unnatural.

If she reads the bulk of this book, idk if I’ll be able to make it through. And if I do, and she narrates others in the series, I will not be continuing. She’s that bad.

He gaslights her and shows her over & over that he’s only interested in her body. Yet he “loves” her? Dude. You don’t KNOW her. And Liz is a weak-minded cocktease who’s controlled by her vag. They both need to grow a pair.

So far this is just alright. I’ll admit that I’m curious enough to come back to it, but the writing didn’t reach its full potential.
