Andy said if I wasn't vibing with the book at 20% I should give up to avoid another bad read; well... I'm still here and reading! Also I am reading this book to prove that it won't be a weird romance w/ the 15-year age gap between the Nanny and the Single Dad! Let's hope I can prove him wrong!!

I’m disappointed that I let myself have such high expectations for this book! It was recommended to me by a friend who is an avid fantasy reader. I shared I liked fantasy, but also romance, to which this was a suggestion that marries both. Unfortunately I feel like I’m forcing myself to get through it and even with only 100 pages left it seems like an eternity! 😩

Writing style is different and a bit challenging to pickup!
