I’m disappointed that I let myself have such high expectations for this book! It was recommended to me by a friend who is an avid fantasy reader. I shared I liked fantasy, but also romance, to which this was a suggestion that marries both. Unfortunately I feel like I’m forcing myself to get through it and even with only 100 pages left it seems like an eternity! 😩
