this is written from Jojo’s POV and I will say the distracted aspect comes up a bit where you follow a tangent or observation for a while and then circle back to the mission/ scene at hand

i really love Cooper. Jojo is blind to what’s in front of her and is hyperfixating on the wrong things and the “idea” of a guy is, rather than how he fits with her.

it might be a bit predictable but I am enjoying Cooper and all the banter. also props for the Texas setting in beginning

I think this is my favorite Lynn Painter book. I had the best time reading it! There was all the banter and the characters feel so relatable - hello Duffy! The story had components that feel Tay-vis coded and it reads so easily.
The story is perfectly paced, the banter hade giggling and kicking my feet, it’s basically perfection. This is definitely one that I need for my shelf to comfort read

i’m really and enjoying this story of ghost and strong women with grudges.

this book is a great time so far
