I should have read this sooner!

I had to read through all of my Quicksilver notes. It was almost 2h of uuuuuuuoh-s and aaaaaaah-s because I remembered 🦋nothing🦋 I had the vibes in me. But not the details.

And now that I realise this book won't be flowers and butterflies all the way ... I'm scared 🥹

Again, why am I doing this to myself? 😆 these people are not okay, they need therapy.

Estoy pensando que podría haber sido algo más light como la trilogía de Culpables, pero esto es drama humano. Me hacen sentir cosas. He llorado un poco. No son personas sencillas, aunque la premisa es dolorosamente típica.

Este libro es como el Bruce Todopoderoso: dios da — dios quita 😆 tooooooodo el rato, enseguida que tengo un respiro de aire fresco, todo amoroso y con grandes perspectivas ... Me lo arrebata todo y me ahoga con la cara en el proverbial lodo.

I am basically losing my mind from absolute lack of sleep (just like a certain yearning redhead in the previous installment) and I couldn't be happier.

I have purposely postponed my reading of this beautiful book until the next gorgeous masterpiece was published. Now that it is here I can proceed to laugh and cry for 800 pages straight, losing sleep and my mind in the process.

Telenovela levels of stupid stuff happening all at once. These developments are killing me. Whaaaaaaaaaat do you mean the evil British voice in his mind is doing the "inner saboteur" bit RuPaul has been hitting the queens with since forever? 🥲

Isn't it just the best when two —not equally— damaged people, find each other and heal together?

Also, it has taken me 3 books to realise that apart from a huge amount of trauma, a lot of these characters have some sort of disability, be it of realistic or magical sense, and it's never a handicap, just a thing of the circumstances they live with, being badass as hell, so a lot of freaking props !

I don't know how I've fallen into this, but ooooooooh brother (pun intended) 🤭

This is a re-read and I'm still not prepared 🥲

I'm trying to distract myself with the introduction of Row-row so I can get through the last two parts of Assassin's blade in this re-read I'm doing 🥲
