Rereading this book is reminding me of just how much I love it. Pastor Newsome is interesting … & I wish Del would get the cues that Ki is just not for him. Look at all these obstacles that just keep getting in the way… it’s not meant to be at all at all at all.
I love how this book showcases how pastors tend to weaponize their power.

Interesting…I’ve already watched the movie so I have an idea of what’s going on, Ryle is weird, not attractive, the red flags are LITERALLY red flagging.

Luv my girl Sloan…Jason is cool but I’m not liking the way he kissed her after she ALREADY SAID that she doesn’t kiss on the first date…then proceeded to ask her if she was mad that he kissed her…???? Uhh?? Like okay…
The book is cool so far def not no 5 star read just yet.

Honestly…this book cannot get a 5 star rating out of me. I love me some Abby Jimenez but the fact that this is so sexual centered is throwing me off…it’s hard to believe homegirl actually likes Josh, idc. And I feel like Josh needs to respect himself. Because I hate how he’s going after her like a lost puppy. Idk.
