So much has happened. Mostly stressful things. We are leading up to the climax. One huge one conquered and now another dangerous move right afterwards. Can Ashe, Zander and Thrall squad make it?

Oh I LOVE this book! I love the story and all the characters. What’s going on at this point is exciting. I recommend this series.

How’s the book? Shocking. Filled with anxiety. Just what I need in today’s world 😆 Moments of short-lived victories. I am SO happy it’s an 8 book series! I love long stressful high fantasy stories with magic and fae and most especially dragons. Intelligent, fierce and protective. I would ride a dragon if this kind of world existed. But I want to have magic too.

Each book gets better than the last with story development. What’s happening now is something I never expected nor thought could happen.

It ended beautifully. I’m on to the next because the book ended in the middle of a scene! ❤️❤️❤️🐉

Either way, I’m loving the story—flaws and all. It’s the story itself that counts.

I like the story and how it’s unfolding. I like the dragons and especially the lead dragon. She isn’t nice. She’s big and stubborn and won’t bond. It’s been 600 years since she has been seen and she has a rider, but that means nothing in this story. Interesting take on dragon riders

This book is described enemy to lovers. I would disagree with that. So far the male character, supposed enemy, hasn’t done anything or behaved in an enemy type of way. In fact, this person has helped her, and he’s watching out for her safety and seems enthralled. He is also keeping a secret of hers which puts her in danger. So I don’t know why the synopsis describes the story this way.

The series has different kinds of battles and challenges throughout each book. That’s what makes it exciting. This book has gone off in a totally new direction

I appreciate Maggie Stiefvater even more while reading. There are so many thoughts to unpack. So many thoughts and understanding well-said. Things I never considered, things I didn’t know I should know or have been considering. I’m reading while out of the house and this time I could be borrowing Steve’s post-it notes 😆😆😆 darn it!

Oh it’s soooo good!

Twists and turns and even if you know the script and how it should turn out you absolutely do not see the sharp bends in the roads. Big shake-ups in the story. Love it

Story has gone in a whole new direction. Really good story.
