I was raving to Tia about how much I loved Train Dreams and stories about 19th century America, to which she suggested I read some Steinbeck, who I have criminally neglected up until this point. Feeling like I've taken on a bit of a goliath as my first venture into his work, but 100 pages in and this is already shaping up to be an all timer for me.
