GEEZ IT'S TAKING ME FOREVER TO EVEN CREATE A DENT IN THIS NOVEL. the beginning reminded me strongly of this other plot but instead of swimming, it's hockey. obviously its different the more i read it. also i had no clue this was an omega-verse novel, when i looked at the tags it didn't have anything related to it.

the amount of times ive had to google a word is embarrassing. all i got to say is that elio is THE over thinker boss.

definitely a lot more details than the movie, however thats why i love the movie so much. it forces you to think why this scene is happening, what causes it, what it means, making you develop the urge to rewatch and discover new details. the book it more straight forward.

UGH i have to wait for ppl to release the translated sides. aside from that i see what ppl meant by the ending is rushed. i felt like it should've more complicated and take longer but yeah alright. the whole fight with shu and nox felt so underwhelming and the "emperor" (forgot his name) death was also very anticlimactic.
