So far, this is giving all the wrong vibes.

This honestly takes me back to when I was 13, reading those weird Wattpad stories where the female main character always had the most tragic backstory imaginable. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet, but I’m gonna keep reading anyway.

I don't know why, but lately, Ana Huang's books are starting to feel... off? Like, around mid-book, it just gets boring.

This one? It feels like an action movie I didn't buy tickets for. I thought I was signing up for emotional tension, yearning, maybe a super dramatic kiss or two, but instead, I'm stuck in this chaotic mess of gangs. What even is happening?

I accidentally pulled an all-nighter just to read this book. It's 9 a.m. and I still can't bring myself to stop, which is honestly concerning. Send help (but not really).

Also, I didn't even think about going to the kitchen for snacks while I read. That's how you know a book has me in a chokehold.

I would 100% learn ASL for this man. No questions asked.
