4.5 ★ rounded to 5. This was GOOD and exceeded my expectations. I went into this blind and I’m so glad I did. While some parts are predictable, the author still had a way of keeping you hooked. The writing was easy to follow; the emotions were felt on the pages. The banter, the tension, the trauma and heartache… I need book 2 immediately.
