Finally got to the trees that fight back. This was in the movie wasn’t it? I remember something about trees.

Well…..now they have to figure out how to get Dorothy home.

Not going to finish tonight, but there’s not much time left for Snow.

Oof. I don’t know how you would defend Snow.

Almost time for the trial, now that the confession has been made.

That humbug “Wizard” just left without Dorothy.

How interestingly Oz has met the demands, especially giving the lion some “liquid courage”.

Now we have mentions of Bluff Dale and Cedar Mountain. I’ll have to look up where Cedar Mountain was / is. I know of Chalk Mountain.

Looked up quite a few places, Allard Cemetery and Pony Creek School. There was even mention of McDow’s Hole. And apparently Rocky Point was a place and not just a church.

Meeting and ending the witch all in one chapter. Very different from the movie.

Dismantling, with Castro’s opposition. I see where Fidel was angry, but also - you chose the bed you got into.

The Widowmaker was a real sub, so many times we nearly went to nuclear war. If people would just talk, things would be much simpler.

Just a bit more tonight. With these smaller books I can now see how I would read them in a week for my Children’s Literature class in college. Such a good class.
