I've had this book for a while and I'm so glad to be finally reading it. After reading The Vegetarian I both was both intrigued and aftraid to read more of Han Kang, but is so good.

When I later try to remember the plot of this book I'll probably think all of this happened in a yokai supermarket.

I did an oopsie yesterday and listened through 6 hours of this while playing Supermarket Simulator.
Insane combo because I wouldn't spend that much time with either of them under normal conditions.
Now I'm in the sunken cost fallacy zone and will need to finish the audiobook. To quote the book: "Baka!"

I think I just watched too many videos about tradwifes and influencers a few months ago and my brain cannot take in any more information about this topic.
So far nothing unexpected nothing uncovered.
I hope that the plot twist I've heard so much about will deliver me.

I don't think I would be continuing under normal conditions but lately I've having a serious case of FOMO. This is one of the books that while reading I keep my fingers crossed that the author will make it worth it. I'm just not interested in the whole "influencers are fake" discourse because of course they are. But this portrayal seems malicious as if a tradwife has personally hurt the author.

After reading Foster I did not expect to read another Claire Keegan book. But I had to believe in Irish Literature. Aaaand I really liked the film adaptation.

A story of literary devices. I think this is the first time I read a Norwegian story and apart from crime novels that's what I imagined Norwegian general fiction to be. Why? Who knows.
