It's almost funny seeing Darrow not recognising that he too gained most his physical prowess on a platter (even if it was a painful one). And he who was supposed to overthrow the Society is just sitting in the bushes hiding and not knowing how to handle crazed Goldbrows. I still appreciate that he didn't come to this school a bloodydamn genius without any major struggle as we see a lot in these kind of books.
