How women are treated in this book has made me so sad thus far. I feel like it’s incredibly important to understand what some women go through at the hands of men to better empathize with them. The men in this book, so far, treat women as replaceable objects and I think that’s awful. After finishing a chapter I literally have to stop and just grieve with these fictional characters. powerful book.
