Mahadevi Verma is a master at writing characters, each character is so real, and presented with so much care and tenderness.

Just started, and I can already tell it's gonna be a 5 star for me. The writing is good, pace is nice, plus it's historical fiction!! :))

I already know what’s coming, things are gonna go downhill from here and I am not prepared for it.
Well written :)

This is actually a good book. I personally didn't like "The Palace of Illusions", and was skeptical about picking this up, but I am glad I did.

it will take me some time to settle in everything I just read.

What an epic read!!

Good and melancholic read till now.

this book is insanely good. perfectly paced and beautifully written :))
