i need to lock in i’m so behind on my goal

ann patchett certainly has daddy issues

we’re treading into fav book of the year territory let’s see how it wraps…..

i wish i was one of hollis’ friends from a period of her life so i could be invited to stay in her fancy ass house drinking veuve all weekend

elin learned “sneaky link” and ran w it for multiple books

the vast majority of the books i have read so far this year can be sorted into either “elderly person processes grief and gives advice” and “smutty romance near water”

i didn’t forget about this book it’s just dense as fuck

i’m sorry brooke averick this life sounds like a prison

ok obviously cathy is very (arguably irredeemably) evil… but a retelling of east of eden from her perspective with maybe sommeee redemption would be sooooo good (eg james huckleberry finn type story)

slow and steady

prescient! #catholicism

i get high off of biblical allusions thank you catholic school

main protagonist comparing herself to jo march im going to get my feelings hurt at some point

finally doing my reread in honor of the trailer

her explaining to him how to improve his tiktok algorithm kind of took me out of it for a sec but enjoying greatly i love this autistic man

tyler got me a lobotomy book for my bday and that’s true friendship
